My porcelain pottery pieces are glazed in vibrant colours of turquoise, green, gold, purple, blues, teal, chocolate brown and other colour combinations.
I also melt Beach Glass on wee dishes and chop stick rests.
I fire these pieces to 2232 F in my electric kiln at my studio.
I love to see how the textures are revealed through the glazes and how the glaze completes the piece.
This is a more predictable firing compared to my other 2 firing methods, but there still can be surprises, some delightful and some not so much.
